| Job Description | Our client is looking for a DBA with experience in Financial Markets to replace a team member who is leaving on Christmas Eve. The role will initially be on a contract basis for 3 weeks.
The role is: Purpose Primary: Working within the Product Control team to maintain and enhance an existing SQL Server 2005 database used for daily PL reporting and accounting. Secondary: Working to maintain or create Excel spreadsheets for the Product Control team. Required Skills • SQL Server 2005 DBA with previous SQL Server DBA Experience • (Database Backup/Restore/Performance Tuning/SQL Profiler/SQL Agent) • Strong Transact-SQL scripting (queries, stored procs, etc) • Strong Excel/VBA programming skills • Knowledge of markets and accounting terminology Desired skills: • Previous experience in a Product Control, Markets or Finance environment • Prior C# experience If you meet the criteria please contact Candice at sydney@geoffreynathan.com |
