Reporting to the FP&A Manager you will be a key contributor to the company's internal and external financial reporting. Your primary focus will be the supply of accurate and timely analysis of the company's financial performance. You will also be pivotal in improving efficiencies and in upgrading the management reporting system Hyperion; with which previous experience is highly desirable. The role offers exposure to an extremely broad range of business functions and provides unrivalled insight into the business overall. CA/CPA complete, you possess strong management accounting and modeling skills but more importantly the tact and communication ability to liaise at the most senior levels. It is a simple formula, work hard and you will not only be rewarded but you will also have a lot of fun along the way Cost Accountant: This fast growing Australian company has a newly created opportunity for a self motivated person to help improve In this role you will be instrumental in ensuring the provision of accurate and timely management information of a reporting and analytical nature. Duties will include: - Supporting areas of operations with financial data, inventory analysis and reports concerning production efficiencies and KPI's - Monitoring costs for variances and providing variance reports to the relevant business units (purchasing, finance, marketing etc.) - Maintain monthly cost and inventory reconciliations - Assist in Month-End reporting and budget preparation - Look to continuously improve all facets of reporting and analysis in cost operations. You will have gained your experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. As you will be dealing with all areas of the business it is essential you have excellent communication skills.
