| Job Description | We are on the lookout for an experienced team leader to manage this service which covers a multidisciplinary team of 5 staff looking holistically at the needs and overall well being of women in the local geography.
The staff include massage therapists and naturopaths. This role will work 8 days in the fortnight (64 hours) and some flexibility around days worked will be considered for the right applicant. The team leader will coordinate overall quality assurance of these services provided to women over 45 from CALD and ATSI identified community groups, as well as provide leadership to the 5 staff under their direct supervision. This is a ‘hands on’ role in a supportive cohesive team. The Ideal Candidates: •Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or related disciplines. •Will have a minimum of 5 years experience supporting women through woman-centered and strengths-based frameworks. •Have a sound knowledge in areas of domestic violence, child protection issues, and systems advocacy. Hold an understanding of impacts on trauma and abuse to women and their children. •Have a comprehensive knowledge of women’s health principles and a commitment to feminist philosophy. •Experience in planning, coordinating and facilitating group workshops. •Current driver’s licence.
