As a Team Leader in this service you will be responsible for a team of 4 clinical staff assisting and providing advocacy and ongoing support services to women and families experiencing Domestic Violence. This role will work 9 days in the fortnight (72 hours) some flexibility around days will be considered for the right applicant. The team leader will supervise and coordinate the group facilitation work and clinical practices taking place within this service; and ensure that the needs of the women accessing this service are efficiently and effectively responded to. The Ideal Candidates: •Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or related disciplines. •Will have a minimum of 5 years experience supporting women through woman-centered and strengths-based frameworks. •Have a sound knowledge in areas of domestic violence, child protection issues, and systems advocacy. Hold an understanding of impacts on trauma and abuse to women and their children. •Have a comprehensive knowledge of women’s health principles and a commitment to feminist philosophy. •Experience in planning, coordinating and facilitating group workshops. •Current driver’s licence.
